you just had a baby, family is around I asked people (nicely) to help me while they were there, and most of them were happy to do so. I let them know they are welcome but I can not entertain, i can visit but if baby is hungry I went off into the room to feed, nobody was offended by that i handed them the remote and said help yourself to anything you would like in the kitchen.
As far as the stretch marks I had two kids in two years, they are there lol, and they are all from my first child.

i had the same problem it annoyed me so much…i would rather it just be me and my husband with the baby im fine with people coming to see the baby but we had people over everyday that was so annoying

stretch marks will not completely go away in time they will get a lot lighter so there not as noticeable and fade they wont stay red..they sell lots a creams but the creams just make them lighter doesnt make them go completely away

The most annoying thing is the size of my breasts… I didn’t go up 1 cup size 1 went up 3 cup sizes and they tingle all the time… I am now 4 months into breast feeding and all my friends said that they would go down with time but they haven’t… If they don’t reduce I am going to get them lopped off… I miss my 34 C boobies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only place I got stretch marks was in my pubic area very weird… I use some orange oil I am sure they will fade

Good luck with your wee one

My biggest annoyance was people offering what they thought to be advice. It came from all directions and it wasn’t always good advice! I learned, though, to take what I thought would work and let the rest go in one ear and out the other.

As far as stretch marks go there is nothing you can do to get rid of them. They’ll fade with time, though. The ones around my belly are extremely light now(my son is 19 months old) and that’s the best I can hope for. It’s a small price to pay in my opinion.
