I know its hard to limit yourself (I’m a huge junk food fan too) but try to do it. Sit down and make a plan of everything you are going to eat for the next 3 days. Don’t leave off anything(even that pack of m&ms that you totally plan on eating only “2 or 3 pieces” of.) You don’t necessarily have to get rid of all of the wonderful tasting junk food but you have to account for it and be realistic. If you want a scoop of ice cream then put it down on the list. After you make your list go back and see if you can make any of the foods healthier. Eat your ice cream but maybe try to get a low fat kind. Pizza is just fine but instead of filling up on it you could eat a piece with salad. After you make your 3 day plan as healthy as possible, post it on the fridge. Let your kids, significant other, or anyone else you will be spending time with for the next 3 days in on your plan. I know your kids are young but if you tell them, especially the 3 year old, that “mommy is only going to eat one handful of goldfish today and no more junk food” then he/she will hold you to it. Anytime you get near that kitchen you will have a little drill sergeant following after you.

It sounds like you are pretty bored during the day if all you think about is food. Try to think of new things to keep yourself occupied during the day so you are not constantly waiting for your next meal. Continue excersizing with the programs your are currently doing, just try to do them at least 4-5 times per week. To solve to eating problem, try not to keep all that food in your house, then you will not be tempted. Instead put fresh fruit and veggies on the table, so every time you walk by you can pop a grape or celery stick in your mouth and you will not be so tempted to go crazy on poptarts and toast. Also learn how much you need to eat to really be full. As you are eating focus on what you are doing. Chew each bite and think about the flavor. Savor whatever you are having and eat it slowly. Try to think about when you are full, then stop. Remember its not the last time your ever going to eat, your next meal is right around the corner!

I feel your pain, lol…I struggled with weight for years, but I didn’t actually start losing it until I just mentally made that decision to just do it, and that means willpower(sucks, i know). You don’t have to cut out all those foods you mentioned completely, just cut back a bit…ie. a coffee cup full of cereal with skim milk, 2 pieces of toast with reduced fat peanut butter and jelly, low fat ice cream(skinny cow is good)…it takes some getting used to, but you can do it. Its all about choices. Little changes can make a big difference. As for exercise, I didn’t start losing weight until I got a treadmill for home. Once I got enough weight off to feel comfortable at the gym, I packed up the kids and let them hang out at the gym’s in-house daycare and did that. I alternate days…will do the treadmill at home one day and the gym the next. If the weather’s bad, stay home and do the treadmill. Or in your case, you could alternate doing your tapes one day and doing your walking the next, as long as you make a point to do something like that 4/5 times a week. As for the stomach, crunches are good, as well as light weights at the gym. Good luck

It all starts with the shoppin girl! If you dont buy it, you wont eat it.
So make some healthy shopping lists with no processed foods, lean meats, fruits, veggies, and healthy things. Organic ya know.

get at the least 40 hrs of deep breathing exercise, like running every day……….and dont make excuses, you CAN make time.

    GOOD LUCK
